Opportunities to solve city challenges with data and AI are expanding every day. But it takes visionary leadership to know where and how to apply them effectively. GovEx recently brought on board four CDOs-in-Residence who can help cities navigate these tricky waters. Each has a proven track record of turning data into measurable outcomes for the residents they served.
On March 18th at noon EST, I will host a webinar with three of our new CDOs-in-Residence – all former big-city data leaders – to discuss “How to Launch an Impactful Data-Driven Project.” It is free and open to city data practitioners and leaders everywhere.
Speakers will include New York City’s first Chief Analytics Officer Mike Flowers, former Buenos Aires Chief Data Officer Melisa Breda, and former Chief Data Officer of both California and the City and County of San Francisco Joy Bonaguro.
This will be a great opportunity to learn from experienced data leaders with a track record of success in scoping, developing, and scaling effective data projects. It’s also an excellent chance to learn more about the Bloomberg Philanthropies City Data Alliance, which partners with leading mayors and municipalities across the world to apply data and AI to real resident challenges. GovEx will be working with Bloomberg Philanthropies to recruit new cities for the Alliance in the coming months.
