What is performance analytics?

1 answer

Performance analytics is the practice of using data and technology to study how your government is performing to continuously make it  better. By linking data to overarching priorities, collecting and analyzing data and evidence, and determining the desired outputs and outcomes, local government leaders can use performance analytics to best administer policies and programs to the benefit of their community and residents. The GovEx publication “Performance Management: Getting Started” provides an overview of the steps necessary to implement a performance analytics program.
