Foundations of Applied Analytics in Government

This online course will provide training on advanced data analytical techniques and how they are being used in city governments to improve the quality of life for residents. Participants will gain practical experience in scoping data science problems, applying statistical analyses, and communicating results. Over eight weeks, you’ll complete exercises that complement each other and build toward an analytics project plan for your organization. Our goal is for you to have a coherent, practical plan to begin implementing in your work a the end of the course. You can expect to spend 3-5 hours per week on this course.
